The building standing on its own in the far centre left is Ebenezer Chapel and above it is Mount Pleasant, part of which overlooked our school. The row of houses directly to the right of the chapel was Shintons Row, which was demolished when I was about 4 or 5. Behind Shintons FRow, and to the right, was Colliers Row and the fourth house from the left (no 4) was where dad lived. The very long row towards the front of the photo was Clock Row which would have been there when you were young and the row at the very front was the top of SHop row which was demolished about the same time as Shintons Row although the remainder of Shop Row was left until the 1960s before demolition
